Automatically generate Application Support Packages (ASPs) that intelligently map board resources to your application’s needs. This seamless virtual processing instantly recognizes and accesses installed IPs, empowering multiple programs to run simultaneously. Reduce risk, cost, and effort while maximizing system reliability.
Designed as a unique market solution, the Proc Dev Kit streamlines and simplifies the FPGA design process by enabling developers, FPGA engineers, and software teams to generate a tailored Application Support Package (ASP). This package seamlessly integrates application-specific FPGA development resources with complementary software drivers, creating a complete and cohesive development environment.
Gidel’s ProcVision suite provides a market-unique ecosystem for developing high-performance custom imaging and vision systems based on FPGA. The suite enables FPGA-level customization of the Gidel frame grabbers and edge computers. Such customization includes tailoring of the acquisition path, the image processing, system architecture and more. The suite includes FPGA and SW libraries, templates, examples and tools for that accelerate development on FPGA and integration with software. The ProcWizard application that is part of the suite generates tailored board support package that optimizes the FPGA resources to the application needs. The ProcWizard also enables virtualization of the FPGA space such allowing for multiple applications to operate simultaneously on the FPGA. The suite also includes the CertifEye test bench that enables testing and verification of the full design on FPGA.
The InfiniVision IP for Gidel FPGA grabber boards is designed for synchronized image acquisition from multiple cameras (100+). Its innovative architecture offers efficient data acquisition for high-bandwidth and high-frame-rate applications, as well as inline real-time compression. InfiniVision supports GigE Vision, CoaXPress, Camera Link, and proprietary user camera protocols.
Gidel’s real-time JPEG image compression (encoder) IP enables high-performance JPEG compression on FPGA. The compression IP is unique in its fast processing capacity, low latency, and compact silicon utilization. As a result of its compactness, the IP can be implemented on a small FPGA device to compress high-performance camera image streams or, alternatively, instantiated multiple times on a single larger FPGA device. The JPEG IP can be embedded seamlessly in Gidel's image acquisition systems, including the Gidel frame grabbers and compact edge computers. The compression supports high-end camera streaming, including 10+ GigE Vision, CoaXPress and Camera Link. Gidel's real-time compression IPs are particularly beneficial for high-bandwidth and high-resolution imaging application enabling increased recording time, reduces storage size, and reduced post recording data offload and compression time on host computer.
Gidel’s lossless compression IP targeting FPGA performs real-time compression for Color Filter Array (CFA – e.g., Bayer), Monochrome, and RGB images and videos. The IP enables compression of multi-camera/sensor inputs at pixel clock rates exceeding 1 gigapixel/s while using very small FPGA resources and minimal power consumption. The compression is highly efficient and, in real-case video applications, has achieved a lossless compression ratio of 1:2.3. The Lossless IP can be embedded seamlessly in Gidel's image acquisition systems, including the Gidel frame grabbers and compact edge computers. The compression supports high-end camera streaming, including 10+ GigE Vision, CoaXPress and Camera Link. Gidel's real-time compression IPs are particularly beneficial for high-bandwidth and high-resolution imaging and vision application enabling increased recording time, reduced storage size, and reduced post recording data offload and compression time on host computer.
Gidel’s Quality+ (Q+) IP targeting FPGA compresses Color Filter Array (CFA – e.g., Bayer), Monochrome, and RGB images and videos in real-time. Q+ revolutionizes image compression, achieving up to 1:10+ compression ratios for high-bandwidth image streams while preserving original image quality.
The Quality+ IP can be embedded seamlessly in Gidel's image acquisition systems, including the Gidel frame grabbers and compact edge computers. The compression supports high-end camera streaming, including 10+ GigE Vision, CoaXPress and Camera Link. Gidel's real-time compression IPs are particularly beneficial for high-bandwidth and high-resolution imaging and vision applications enabling to improve image quality while increasing recording time, reducing storage size, and reducing post recording data offload and compression time on host computer.
Real-time, high-quality HDR IP with virtually zero latency, based on a single exposure. The IP is designed for FPGAs and can be embedded seamlessly in Gidel’s modular vision/imaging grabbing and image processing systems, which include PCIe boards and edge computers supporting GigE Vision, CoaXPress, Camera Link, and user-defined protocols.
